Find a nearby Western Union agent location and head to the counter for assistance with your domestic or international money transfer.

Determine how much to send

Decide on the amount you’d like to transfer. Exchange rates may apply for international transactions.

Provide all necessary details

Be prepared by coming to the agent with a valid ID. You’ll also be asked to share the recipient’s name as it appears on their ID, along with their location. Some transfers may require additional details such as the sender’s or recipient’s bank account number for direct transfers.

Pay applicable fees

Cover the transfer amount and any applicable service fees. You can pay with cash, debit, or at select locations, a credit card.

Confirm and finalize your transfer

Review the transaction details and get a Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) to track your transfer. Share it with your recipient for pickup so you both know when the funds arrive.
